For the first time in the history of the Dogwood-Azalea Festival, an Art Show will be featured as part of the celebration, with hopes that it becomes a lasting tradition and sparks the revival of the once-thriving Charleston art club. This inaugural event will showcase works from talented local artists, select pieces from private collectors in the area, and a special presentation by the Cape Girardeau Arts Council, who will display works from their Collection. The show will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the historic Johns Pharmacy building at 101 N. Main Street. Come celebrate creativity, community, and culture—support the arts!
